The summer has come to a close and fall has begun and winter will soon follow. During the summer we had a very enjoyable lodge picnic once again. The turn-out was fantastic. We also had a Dinner/Comedy show that was a huge success. We had our annual Rib-Out which also was extremely successful. Thank you one and all who attended, for making these events a very enjoyable time with fellow members.
It also is my pleasure to inform our membership of our Moose of the Year, Tim Jolly. Tim is always here for us when called upon and assists us in many endeavors. To name but a few items he is responsible for: removing the old and installing all the new carpeting throughout the lodge. He also installed the new floor in the social quarters, rear vestibule and bathroom floors, etc. Tim allows us to use his enclosed trailer to transport all the items needed for the picnic to Veterans Memorial Park and then back to the lodge. Tim helps us in the kitchen whenever he is asked and even just appears out of nowhere to help. He helps us prepare and set the lodge for New Year’s Eve, he is without a doubt deserving of this honor. Congratulations go out to Tim Jolly.
On behalf of the Board of Officers I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
Ernie Macy, Jr. Gov.
